Science Standards - The final, public draft will be available in early January, 2013 Social Studies Standards - Work at the national level has halted. Smarter Balanced and ACT Suite DPI Budget Request Provide funding to schools to implement ACT Suite and Next Generation Assessments 1. Fully fund WKCE in FY 14 2. Implement SMARTER/Balanced and Dynamic Learning assessments in FY 15 3. Replace Science and Social Studies portions of WKCE in FY 15 4. Administer ACT Suite: EXPLORE, PLAN,ACT, & WorkKeys in FY 15

Statewide School Information System (SSIS) Vendor to be selected in December, 2012 January-February, 2013 first group of schools to begin implementation Districts will have 5 years to migrate data

The Developmental Pilot phase is currently underway. 94 school districts piloting the three components of the system: 1. Teacher Practice 2. Principal Practice 3. Student Learning Objectives (SLOs for teachers). To get on the SLO pilot waiting list, contact: eeteam@dpi.wi.gov
