2. MEDIAAMBIENTA Environmental Mediation for the Natura 2000 Network in the coastal Region of Murcia (Spain).

3. MISSION  To train the first group of environmental mediators in Murcia to facilitate in the Natura 2000 conflict on the coast.

4. VISION  Environmental mediation as an alternative in high impact environmental conflicts difficult to solve at court and that need a fast resolution.

5. OBJECTIVES  The best environmental planning for Natura 2000.  To train 100 existing mediators in environmental mediation.  To set up the foundation for public participation and avoid litigation.  Aarhus Convention enforcement.

6. ACTION PLAN  Opening symposia on environmental mediation with an expert panel at the University of Murcia.  Material development for training course.  A five month theoretical and practical training course on environmental mediation, both regular and on-line, for 100 mediators.  A one week working session on the Puntas de Calnegre y Cabo Cope Natural Park case study.
