The mystery of Christ was revealed. Ephesians 3:2-6 Colossians 1:27 “It has now been revealed.” John 14:26; 15:26-27; 16:13-14 2 Peter 2:2-4 God’s will that is now in Christ was revealed by the Spirit to apostles and prophets.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” [John 14:26] “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.” [John 15:26-27] “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” [John 16:13]

The New Testament warns: Jesus (Matthew 7:15-16). Paul (Acts 20:29-30). Peter (2 Peter 1:1-3). John (1 John 4:1). What about people who claim to have received a revelation or prophecy from God?

Any message differing with the gospel of Christ is not the one true good news. Galatians 1:8 1 Peter 4:11; 1 Corinthians 4:6 What about people who claim to have received a revelation or prophecy from God?

Men who have claimed to reveal post-New Testament prophecies or decrees: Roman Catholic popes. Joseph Smith, founder of the Mormon church. Ellen G. White, founder of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Charles T. Russell, founder of Jehovah Witnesses. What about people who claim to have received a revelation or prophecy from God?

The doctrine of Christ restores, maintains and assures fellowship with the Father and the Son. 2 John 9 1 Timothy 1:10, 11
