Teachers’ Note Teams are grouped according to their learning needs and current skill level. Each group, as determined by the teacher, is given a different number. At their station, they will find a designated task matching their number. This will allow students to complete a similar center, however, geared towards their learning needs and/or preferences. Groups remain fluid throughout the year and are subject to change depending upon progress. While students are working in literacy groups, the teacher is meeting with reading groups based upon similar needs.
