General facts The element that I chose is called Nitrogen. It’s symbol is ‘N.’ It's atomic number is 14.0067. Its atomic mass is 7. Nitrogen is a non metal it is a gas.

History The person who discovered nitrogen is named Daniel Rutherford. It was discovered in Scotland. It was discovered in the 1770’s.

About The Discoverer He was a Scottish physician and chemist. He was born in 1749 and died in 1819. He was born in Edinburgh UK.

Appearance Nitrogen is colorless and has no ordure. It also has no taste. It is just gas. It looks like the air we breath.

Use # 1 Nitrogen can be used to fill the tires of aircrafts or professional race cars. But they do not fill regular vehicles ties with nitrogen, they fill them with normal air.

Use # 2 Nitrogen is also used to pour on top of liquid explosives to stop them from exploding like PLX for example.

Use # 3 Nitrogen can also be used to manufacture stainless steel. Like kitchenware, tools, car parts ETC.
