2.  Many students and parents use the internet regularly.  This is an under-utilized resource that can make your life easier.

3.  If parents can send you an email, they can check your website. If you have yours up-to- date, you will cut down on emails and phone calls.

4.  The most time-consuming part is setting up your website. We will do this today in about an hour.  A few minutes everyday is all you should need to maintain it.

5.  Assignments  Board Notes  Supplies lists  Announcements  Calendar  Links to supplemental resources  Vocabulary  Just about anything else you need your students or parents to know

6.  At the end of the workshop, you will have your teacher website set up and organized to provide information, resources, and support for your students and their parents.
