5 How to develop a greenhouse gas emissions inventory… Learning from Broward’s Experience ICLEI’s Clean Air and Climate Protection Software (2007) Government Analysis/Measures Community Analysis/Measures A GHG emissions inventory is an accounting of the estimated amount of GHG emitted to the atmosphere over a specific period of time (e.g., one year). A GHG inventory also provides information on the activities that cause emissions, as well as background on the methods used to make the calculations. Source: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 5
