Black bears are omnivore. They live about 20 years. Their 5 to 6 feet long. They weigh about 200 to 600 pounds. If we see a black bear speak calmly and back away slowly it gives the black bear space.

They range throughout the eastern United States. They usually live in forests.

They eat herbs, fruits, berries, nuts, and other plants. They grab it with their mouth or claws.

Physical Adaptations One of bear physical adaptation is it’s claws. They use there claws to climb trees, hunt and dig.

Behavioral Adaptation One of bears behavioral adaptation is hibernating. They hibernate in caves. It helps a bear survive in the harsh winter
