2. Fast CEO Alan Newmark and CFO mark Cohen founded Newmarks productions in 1990. Newmark maintains office in new York and los angels and currently employs more than 500 people. Since its founding. Newmarks has released 50 feature films and 7 emmy-winnnig television program

3. Departments Six department provide the foundation for Newmarks award-winning work: Production, Distribution, Marketing/publicity/promotions, television, merchandising, and Interactive

4. Production The production department is responsible for making the movies-from start to finish. The movie production process begins with story and script development. After a script is selected and purchased, a budget is assigned and a production schedule is development. A director and cast are then selected and pre-production begins. After the movie is filmed, is goes into the final stage of post-production, where the director and newmarks agree an a final cut.

5. Distibution The film is then ready to be distributed. the distribution department book the theaters that will show the film. As theater are located all over the world, Newmarks has domestic distribution offices in new York, los angels, Chicago, and Atlanta and international offices in London and Buenos airs to facilitate the distribution of the film. The distribution department also calculates newmarks newmarks film grosses (money earned on the films)

6. Marketing/publicity/promotions The marketing, publicity, and promotion departments work to promote the films. They are responsile for creating the movie trailer (commeracials/preeviews) that play on televions and intheaters and the movie posters
