f. To convert refuelling assets to non +100 status, the unit must be drained. No more than 200 L of F-37 fuel may collectively remain in piping, hoses and filter separator. After filling with F-34, rotate 1000L through each hose. No additional maintenance is required.

g. To convert units from F-34 to F-37, simply drain and fill unit with F-37. Because the additive provides beneficial, but not flight critical benefits, it is not essential to rotate fuel through hosing. Refueling vehicle filters and all associated hosing and other equipment are compatible with the +100 additive and no maintenance should incur when converting from F-37 to F-34 or vice versa.

h. Aircraft are considered off of +100 status after three consecutive refuels with at least 75 per cent of the aircraft fuel load using non+100 fuel.

Page Para 19: All products must be loaded through an isolated system and shall be filtered in accordance with the minimum standard outlined in Annex D. Add Mandatory fuel additives are an essential part of both commercial fuel and military grade fuels. For this reason, additives are injected in dynamic flow to achieve adequate blending in the prescribed amounts. Fuel additives should not be added to fuel if they cannot be quantified on the CBA as per the product standard.

- Mandatory fuel additives are an essential part of both commercial fuel and military grade fuels. For this reason, additives are injected in dynamic flow to achieve adequate blending in the prescribed amounts. Fuel additives should not be added to fuel if they cannot be quantified on the CBA. This excludes the use of portable spray cans such as Prist ® and other manual blending mechanisms unless approved by QETE 3.
