Social Media Newspapers were really popular as many people heard of the news and what was happening around town. It was a way of communication of what was happening and giving the feed to the people Radio’s were popular as well because there they would announce news and would deliver sports news etc. They wanted to get the news to people and these two resources were very popular back then

Sports Baseball stadiums were very popular Boxing was a popular sport as well that many people tuned into especially with famous boxers like Joe Louis who was a heavyweight champion Another popular sport was football. More and more crowds kept going to the games. It was a growing sport and Davey O'Brien was a work horse for TCU. Not only did he handle most of the passing unlike other T- formation QB's he did a lot of the running as well. African American Life W.E.B Du Bois- He is known for his involvement in the head of Niagara Movement and the NAACP. He experienced his life with hate from white people and white politicians who had went against every thing he had stood for. Daisy Lampkin- She was a major reason why the NAACP was able to block the nomination of segregationist Judge John J. Parker to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1930. She would get threats that she was going to be killed. Many white people went against her and held riots in front of the court house. Charles Houston- He became the first special counsel of the NAACP. He was a very educated men and went to Harvard Law School and usually no African-Americans attended school at all so this was defiantly a great achievement. He had received hate from white people, from the collage mainly, many people would just stare at him and make comments and even send him threats. Though, he was a great lawyer and had memorized dozens of legal challenges.
