How cavities work Dental Cavities are caused by a combination of carbohydrates-containing foods and bacteria that lives in our mouths. Sugary foods are most likely to be the cause of cavities. This is what a cavity looks like !

How will you know if you have a cavity? You would probably figure it out by yourself when the cavity starts to become sensitive, but most times the cavity is painless, so you should always consider going to the dentist couple time a year. A common symptom is an increased sensation (awareness/impression) to cold and sweet foods or beverages.
5
What happens when food is left and how to prevent cavities Well, eventually your teeth will rot, but you can always floss and rinse your mouth with water after every meal, and don’t forget to brush your teeth at least 2 times a day, and that should probably stop you from getting cavities
