Industry Training 190,000 people in formal industry- related ed & training each year 35,000 enterprises 37 industry-established and owned ITOs co-funding model (in cash and in kind) drives individual, firm and industry productivity ITOs have ‘coverage’ of 78% of the New Zealand workforce

Maori in Industry Training 16% of industry trainees are Maori Maori are over-represented in Seafood, Social Services, Forestry, Food Manufacturing Maori achievement highlighted in TES Industry training critical to Maori economic development
