2. The Godfather
The poster shows a picture of Don Vito Corleone, head of a branch of the mob. The purpose is to show one of the most famous quotes from the movie with a well known picture.
The Marketing strategy is to sell to fans of the Godfather. They do this by putting a great quote along with a themed picture.
First the artist decided to make a theme for the poster. Next he chose a well known quote and photo of the main character.

3. MEGA MAN COVER
The poster is a photo of the original Mega Man cover. The purpose is to show what this game is all about.
The marketing strategy was to capture peoples attention. It is a good thing this was a good game, because this is one of the worst Game covers of all time.
The process taken was going away from the 8 bit art to more realistic art. Which in this case failed.

4. VERTIGO
It shows a man falling down a spiral with a woman. This transfers to the fact that the man is afraid of heights and falling.
Both the image and the texts makes the poster mysterious.
The artist created an effect (the spiral) that was associated with the vertigo effect.

5. eBay
The subject of the poster is a psp box with a game boy in it. It is telling that there is a chance, if you buy off ebay, you won’t get what you actually ordered.
This poster is trying to make either make a joke or convince people to not use ebay.
He probably had both a psp and a game boy , so the artist put the game boy into the psp box.

6. THE LORD OF THE RINGS
The subject is the movie The Lord of the Rings. The purpose is to advertise the movie.
It is showing all the main characters and features the inscription of the Ring.
The artist had to find good photos of each character to use, so they would all work together in one poster.
