3.  Excel formula follows the same order of operations as mathetics. Operation Order - Negation ( -1 ) % Percent ^ Exponentiation * and / Multiplication and Division + and – Addition and Subtraction Use parentheses to change the order.  2 + 3 * 2  8  (2 + 3) * 2  10
