The purpose of the Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High School Online program is to reduce the failure and drop-out rates of frequently absent students thereby positively impacting the graduation rate of the school. The goal of the program is to provide students who are frequently absent or unable to attend school entirely due to legitimate reasons with an alternative opportunity for completion of coursework through an online platform.

Students falling into any of these categories may be eligible for the online program.

4. The school’s website will be the portal to the Mervo Online program. Teachers and students will log onto the website to access the digital Learning Management System (LMS) selected or created by the school.website  Teachers will be able to post, receive, grade, and return assignments via the LMS.  Students will be able to receive, complete, and submit assignments via the LMS.  Individuals will be able to upload digital content, such as video, audio, etc., to the LMS.
