9. 12/7 Greenhouse Effectp. Greenhouse gases ( examples are carbon dioxide and water vapor) trap heat in the Earth's atmosphere and prevent it from escaping to outer space.

10. Graph Analysis 1.How has the global temperature changed since 1880? By how many degrees has it changed? 2.How has carbon dioxide levels changed? When was there a sharp increase? What may have caused this? 3.What are the effects of these changes on sea level and snow cover? 4.What are other ways global warming will impact the earth and its inhabitants?
