Your budget needs to include certain information: What money left in the account will be spent on next year Proposed membership fee Expected membership numbers Core activities of the Society, what you plan to do over the coming year and the costs of these activities BUDGETS

UCSU Society bank account To facilitate core and social activities of the Society: Administrative costs, affiliations, speakers fees/travel expenses, conferences/meetings, equipment purchase/hire/maintenance, clothing, food and drink, trips abroad, accommodation, membership fees, social events, personal clothing, transport, tickets BUDGETS

Societies Federation Grants Criteria: Fully established Society Active Delivering aims and objectives Attended required meetings and planning sessions SU FINANCE APPLYING FOR MONEY

Must only be used to deliver an activity within the aims of the Society Must only be used for the purposes that were outlined within the application Cannot be donated to a charity Cannot be used for social activities SU FINANCE SPENDING MONEY

There are 2 ways in which you can spend money from the Society account: Direct from the account or Pay cash and get reimbursed SU FINANCE SPENDING MONEY
