3. Tilden School Schedule. Arrival 7:30-7:45. 1 st Period7:55-8:41. 2 nd Period 8:45-9:30. MAP/TLT9:34-10:00. 3 rd Period10:04-10:49. LUNCH10:53-11:23. 4 th Period11:27-12:12. 5 th Period12:16-1:01. 6 th Period1:05-1:50. 7 th period1:54-2:40

4. Morning Procedures  Student drop off at tennis court 7:30- 7:50 AM. Take the bus if possible.  6 th graders report to gym prior to 7:45.  Students are dismissed to lockers 7:45- 7:55.  Classes begin promptly at 7:55.

5. Main Office  If late, students should report to the main office to sign in.  If leaving early, students should bring parent note to the main office in the morning. The note should include: pick up time, reason, phone number and signature.

7. Homework  Check assignment book daily  Check Edline with your child  Encourage your child call a friend when absent

8. School Supplies  Tilden agenda book  A zipper binder  Pencils, pens, color pencils, scissors, ruler, paper  A cell phone is NOT a school supply despite what your child says!

9. Self-advocacy and responsibility  Help them plan, keep a calendar and adhere to due dates  Supervise them and follow-through  Trust but verify/communicate with staff  Show them how to write an email to a teacher

Get Connected  Join the Tilden list serve and PTSA  Check the Tilden site for daily announcements, changes in schedules, upcoming standardized testing, and Edline.  When you have concerns, contact the teacher, team leader, content specialist, counselor, or 6 th grade administrator  If not sure who to contact, contact the main office

12. Summer and Fall  May course confirmations  Summer information will be available first week in August and hard copies will be available in the office  Summer reading will be available after June 13 th on the website  Back to school picnic late August (TBD)  6 th grade orientation Thursday, Aug. 21 st
