Introduction For 2012/13 growing and selling season commenced in August 2012 Mode of Registration Fox pro and Biometric. Registered 57,900 growers – 33, 220 FoxPro – 24,680 biometric (new and renewals.) Both Contract and Auction (Growers and Volume) – Growers Contract 38,861 – (75%) Auction 19,039 – (25%) – Volume Contract 162,516,062 – (56%) Auction 130,804,282 – (44%)

REGISTRATION MODE Estates – Owners – Cooperate Estates Clubs – Capture 3 with possibility of adding the rest later – All members can be captured at once when available Contract Growers are advised to bring contract forms upon registering.

MOBILE UNITS Mobile Units – To ease the congestion – Ease of management – Get Closer to the Growers – Cut transport cost At the moment one Centre operational – Mponela in Dowa – Daily average of 30 growers (Registration numbers) per day.
