S.T.U.T Southern Taiwan University In my paper, I choose PSCAD software as the tool for simulations. PSCAD is a specialized software for power system simulation PSCAD has a strong library with a totally graphical, modular, hierarchical and customizable. The equipment models also can built in C++, FORTRAN, and MATLAB with a friendly interface in PSCAD System simulation and results

S.T.U.T Southern Taiwan University 12&4 3 System simulation and results It is observed that overload phenomena appeared when one generator running at sea going status. However, the load factor is only 104.5 in heavy loading case and 107.2 at anti-sinking case. It is only a small percentage overload for the generator. To solve this problem some load can be tripped. It is observed that in both status didn’t appear overload in all loding conditions It is observed that overload phenomena appeared when one generator running at cargo handing status. The load factor is 112.3 in anti-sinking case. in this status ships are unloading or uploading cargo. when abnormal conditions appear this activity is stopped cause for stopping a series of load. The load factor is 128 in heavy loading case. To slove this broplem another generator should be starting or some loads can be tripped. it is very unlikely in practice. because all load can working in this status to be running at the same time.

Furthermore it successfully applied the method to calculate for one tanker ship. As the results, two generators with a rating capacity of 176kW/220kVA each that are designed for providing load demand on this tanker. In addition, a power system simulation of this tanker has been built successfully by PSCAD software with the parameters and functions like the system in practice. The simulation results again confirmed that the generators can be running well to maintain the stable and safety of power system in any different loading conditions.
