ANS 105 Previous complaints w/ my comments: 1). There is too much info for a 100 level course 2). There should not be an attendance policy (or tardy policy) … WELL … 3). The lecture slides are not entertaining enough 4). The PowerPoint slides should be sent out in advance even if it encourages some students to not attend
6
ANS 105 Previous positive feedback w/ my comments: 1). Students love the animals in class. 2). Students love the freedom to ask questions / etc. 3). Students love the guest speakers. 4). Although there is a lot of material … the majority of students love their good grades & the fact that they will know how to take care of their future pets regardless of their academic major.

ANS 105 Throughout the semester, if you do not have computer access, you can use the computers in Polk Hall right around the corner (Rooms 9, 11 & 13) for all portions of the class accessing the web.

Whatever your career choice … Odds are very high that at some time in your life you are going to be responsible for a companion animal. The goal of this course is to teach you how to better take care of your animal so that it is healthy, happy, & well-adjusted. (And to make your animal oriented decisions based on fact not opinion) Course Justification
