4 Conflict over Kashmir A.Kashmir: Region in N. India that borders Pakistan. B.1948: Kashmir becomes a part of India, but many Muslims live here. War breaks out. C.1965: War again. Ends with U.N. agreement to pull troops back form “line of control.” D.Current situation: Small skirmishes. A lot of tension.
