(These are for on calls worked in April, May and June)
5
Pay Protection The protected pay will be calculated using an average of On Calls paid during July 2011 – December 2011 On Calls will continue to be recorded on the turnround and these payments will be shown on the payslips
6
Pay Protection On Calls recorded on the turnrounds for May, June and July will be compared against the previously calculated protected amounts When the comparison is made if the On Calls worked are more than the protected salary then just the On Call payment will show on the payslip No protected pay will be due in these cases
7
Pay Protection Staff who are a band 8C and below who previously received a regular On Call percentage payment will now need to claim the payments via the turnround The old On Call was paid currently and the new on call will now be paid a month in arrears these staff will not receive any payments for on call in April On Calls worked in April will therefore be paid in May
8
Pay Protection Staff at Band 8D and above who are due On Call are now entitled to a permanent payment of 1% The old On Call was paid currently and the new percentage will also be paid currently, therefore these staff will receive their protection in April, May and June
