2 Analytic and Synthetic Cubism
Analytic Cubism focused on fragmenting subjects into small facets and “analyzing” them from different angles Works were nearly abstract and monochrome (using mainly browns and grays) Often put letters in their paintings Synthetic Cubism Often made from colored paper Cut paper pieces embodied the entire object in the art work
