Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for just and true are His judgments. - Rev. 19:1-2

Acts 29 – The Story Continues You Shall be My Witnesses, pt. II Acts 1:1-11

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

Acts 29 – The Story Continues You Shall be My Witnesses, pt. II Acts 1:1-11

Congregation: Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who has been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from John’s baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” Acts 1:21-22

Pastor: God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. Acts 2:32

Congregation: You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. Acts 3:15

Pastor: The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead—whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. God exalted Him to His own right hand as Prince and Savior that He might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel. We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.” Acts 5:30-32

Congregation: We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a tree, but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen. He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen—by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. Acts 10:39-41

Pastor: But God raised him from the dead, and for many days he was seen by those who had traveled with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are now his witnesses to our people. Acts 13:30-31

Congregation: You will be his witness to all people of what you have seen and heard. Acts 22:15

Pastor: Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me. Acts 26:16

“Witness” A noun “Martur” - - - martyr As a verb: To testify He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name. Acts 10:42-43
