4. Abilities Needed Able to construct samples from design specs to finished product. Knowledge of textile construction & terminology. Strong Illustrator / Photoshop / CAD capabilities. Thorough knowledge of silhouettes, fabrication, color ways, sewing techniques, graphics and trim. Good understanding of merchandising as it relates to sales and store environment. Computer skills: Microsoft, excel, photo-shop and illustrator.
