N OVEMBER 2015 C HAPTER M EETING CCR Renewal Requirements * Compliance with the new format is encouraged, but not mandatory to renew during the current cycle. In future cycles, the new CCR program requirements must be satisfied to maintain active certification status.

N OVEMBER 2015 BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING 2016 By-Law Changes Proposed changes to Chapter by-laws: Article V – Chapter Board of Directors Add to Section 4: “The Executive Vice-President shall have at least one year’s Board experience, either in a voting or non-voting role.” Rationale: Indicator of qualification, experience and commitment to the chapter. Article VI – Chapter Nominations and Elections Append the following as Section 6: “Elections shall be held as early as the second (2 nd ) Monday in August but no later than the fifteenth (15 th ) of September of each year. This date range facilitates the on-boarding and transition processes needed for the newly elected and out-going Board members.” Rationale: Allows transition for newly elected and out-going Board members.

N OVEMBER 2015 BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING 2016 By-Law Changes Changes to Chapter By-Laws (cont’d) Article VIII – Chapter Finances Add to Section 3: “Taxes shall be prepared by a certified accountant who has documented experience in preparing taxes for non-profit organizations. The Chapter Board VP of Finance shall be responsible for identifying, procuring services, and supplying documentation for such services.” Rationale: Consistency from year to year. Certified accountants tend to be better informed about changes in tax laws, practices, and policies. Voting will take place: January 11, 2016 via paper ballot during the Chapter Meeting
