This is Anne Frank.

Anne receives a diary on her thirteenth birthday. Anne writes in the diary.

One day, Nazi police told her father and her sister Margot to go away to a concentration camp.

Some of Anne’s friends were taken to the concentration camp in trains.

Anne’s family did not go to the concentration camp. They were hiding in a secret attic.

The Van Dann family came to stay with them in the secret attic. The boys name was Peter.

Peter Van Dann is a friend to Anne.

Anne and her family are hiding in a secret attic. Anne’s father is sick and there is no doctor. Anne’s mother is worried about her father.

Anne is scared and feels alone. Anne is hiding in the attic. She is worried about her friends at the concentration camp.

Anne does not sleep well. She eats dry bread and drinks coffee for breakfast. Anne eats spinach and rotten potatoes for dinner.

Anne writes about her life in the attic; she writes about for family. Anne cries; she wants to leave the attic and go outside.

Anne and Peter’s families talk about leaving the secret attic some day. They have little food left to eat.

Anne celebrates her fifteenth birthday in the secret attic. She looks outside through a dirty window. She wishes she could be outside.

With this, her diary ends, on August 4, 1944. The Nazi police came to the attic and took Anne and Peter’s family to the concentration camp. Anne’s diary was left behind in the attic.
