Team and Theme Team ID: HE-16ff311 Team Member: Anirudh Menon (Ani Menon) (https://www.hackerearth.com/users/animenon/) Hitesh Thakkar (https://www.hackerearth.com/users/hitesh_bcb/) Theme: We build our theme based on 'Safe Connect' or 'Surukha Setu' Framework i.e. to provide option to connect citizens, visitors from all age and language to government agency using technology as well as process framework. Most of technology initiative fails as it lacks flexibility on technology as well as process re- engineering to adapt to the changing pattern of governance, social life and technology which we feel are most important dynamics.

Center Idea of Theme Unique and Center Idea of Surksha Setu: There are three stage of safety and crime. Prevent - Provision to Prevent crime possibility - Awareness of possibility and precaution. Deterrence - Provision to immediate safety measures to avoid or minimise impact incident. (Build Analytics from past crime incidents) Response - Provision to ensure crime incidents reported, status of it, actions taken till closure. 1. Prevent 2. Deterrence 3. Response

Salient Features of Suraksha Setu Touch point: Citizen Kiosk installed at strategic locations across cities by Government Authorities. Citizen Societies can also volunteer and place request for installation as sponsors. Mobile App for citizens on GO ( On Road) Backbone: Centralised cloud based application with control or call center access. Setu (Network): All kiosks will be connected to cloud on secured network link. All kiosks will act as Wi-Fi Hot-Spot to download Mobile App and interact using Smartphone App.

Technical Features - Suraksha Setu Citizen Kiosks #Kiosk ComponentUsability Description 1 Web Camera For Video Conferencing with back end govt authority department’s control or call center 2 UIADI Compliant Finger Print Scanner For registration of FIR to verify citizen using Aadhar number and biometric scanning 3 Touch Screen Display Typical all weather resistant (Sun light readable) 21” LCD TFT display with capacitive touch screen 4 Network Connection 1.Secured connection to back end (Cloud) prefer VPN or MPLS link to data center on firewall. 2.Wi-Fi Hot Spot for Mobile App download and smartphone users secured access. 5 Printer Acknowledgement printing for any services as may be choose by user for record. 6 Siren PANIC Button feature on kiosk for SMS to emergency number, audio alert 7 Audio Input/Output For Video Conferencing, Speech recording and partially visually hampered citizens

Use case - Surakasha Setu Mobile Vehicle model Citizen Kiosk can be installed in a mobile wan. It can make trips in interior parts of villages. Villagers can access, Update and Track various services using kiosk. Safety awareness education content can be shared with villagers. Corporate sponsorship can help in operating and donation.

Commercial Viability of Suraksha Setu Single Stop Shop for Citizen Services Kiosks can serve other services such as Vehicle traffic congestion for the route Simulation of ride with estimation of time on possible routes E-governance payments

Commercial Viability of Suraksha Setu Funding: Public Private Partnership for sponsoring Kiosks across city (or state) Corporate sponsorship for rural areas
