1 Mrs. Chasidy & Ms. Lisa October 19 th - October 23 rd Classroom News *Spanish words of the week: buenas noches (good night) *Wednesday is make up picture day! Please send a note to let me know if you want your child’s picture retaken. *The next PTA meeting is scheduled for Thursday night at 6:00. *Starting this week I plan to do something different with reading. I am going to allow students to choose 4 books for the month that they can read for their Tuesday night books. When our schedules are crazy it is hard to remember to send them home. Since they will have them in their bags I won’t have to worry. Please keep these in their book buddies (the zipper pouch in side their green folders). They will be asked to return them at the end of the month. If they do not return all 4 I will not send home any new books. Please help your child take care of the them and return them timely. *Please save one 1 gallon milk jug for our class. Please wash and rinse it out thoroughly and send them in by the 29 th. We are going to be making something with them on Oct. 30 th. Thank you! *Ms. Lisa’s birthday is next Monday. Though she probably doesn’t want me to advertise her age, I will tell you it is a special one! If you would like to help out in any way please let me know. I am wanting to do something extra special for her from the class.
