What is a pendulm and how does it work ? A pendulm is a fixed mass that moves to and fro. It works by moving back and fourth from point A to point B and then back to A again.
3
This is the pendulums control time. Test 1Test 2Test 3Average 11 cycles 12 cycles 12 cycles 11.6 cycles
4
How did the mass affect the pendulum ? Mass Test 1 Test 2 Test 3 Average 2.5 grams 12 cycles 12 cycles 12 cycles 12 cycles 5 grams 13 cycles 12 cycles 12 cycles 12.3 cycles 7.5 grams 12 cycles 12 cycles 12 cycles 12 cycles The mass did not change the pendulum’s number of cycles.
5
Did the release position change the amount of cycles? AngleTest 1Test 2Test 3Average 45 degrees 14 cycles 13 cycles 13 cycles 13.3 cycles 120 degrees 13 cycles 13 cycles 13 cycles 13 cycles No the release position did not change the amount of cycles.

7
YES!YES!
8
The length of string had the most affect on the pendulum. I know this because out of the data that we collected for each variable {mass, release position, and the length of string} the length of the string was the only number that changed.
9
Without a constant the experiment will not be valid. The constant is what the variables depend on and without variable the experiment will just stay the same.
