What is an interview? An interview is when you ask a person questions about your topic. Choose a person who knows a lot about the topic. Ask questions and write down the answers. Copying permitted

Dachshund Dogs Dachshunds are a breed of dog. They are short and can weigh between 10 and 25 pounds. They can be black, brown, or mixed colors. They can have short hair, long hair, or wire hair. The encyclopedia says that “dachshund” means “badger dog” in German. That’s because they were bred to hunt badgers. Dachshunds are very international dogs. Copying permitted

Invitation to Write Pick a favorite animal you find interesting. Find some reference materials that tell you more about your animal. Write a paragraph report about your animal telling what you learned. Copying permitted
