2 Connecting to the Community

3 ASK is a community that welcomes non-believers, secular humanists, atheists, agnostics, and skeptics. We agree with the Council for Secular Humanism’s Affirmations of Humanism and accept these as our core principles. We especially abhor injustice, discrimination and intolerance. We accept the scientific method as the way to acquire knowledge and form our world view. We are ever-evolving and learning so as to maximize this one life. We support, encourage, and offer assistance to any and all non-believers and those questioning their faith.

We are accomplishing this through our defense of civil liberties and secular governance, by our outreach to the growing number of people without traditional religious faith, and through a continued refinement and advancement of the humanist worldview.
