2 WHAT IS FREEDOM CHALLENGE? A movement of passionate women dedicated to freeing oppressed and enslaved women and children all around the world. We do this by participating in physical challenges, while raising funds and awareness to combat these social injustices and set women on the pathway to freedom.

7 OPERATION MOBILIZATION Freedom Challenge is a project of Operation Mobilization. Operation Mobilization’s mission is to establish communities of Christ followers among the unreached and marginalized.

8 SCOPE OF THE PROBLEM 30 million people enslaved today Slavery $32 billion a year business 2nd fastest growing industry behind drugs 80% trafficked are women and children 50% of the 80% under age children Average age 12 – 14 years old

9 FREEDOM CHALLENGE OBJECTIVE Freedom Challenge aims to support OM projects around the world that are focused on slavery and oppression by raising up prayers, funds and awareness. The different projects focus on prevention, development and rescue and restore

10 PREVENTION Most powerful way to impact community Prevent oppression & slavery from starting Help break cultural cycles of oppression: Education for children Skills training for adults Basic support system for women

11 DEVELOPMENT Development projects provide long-term sustainable solutions to the cycle of poverty and oppression of women. Skills training allows them to provide for themselves and their families, making them less vulnerable. Micro-loan programs provide women with the investment necessary to start a small business.

23 FREEDOM CIRCLE A freedom circle is a community of passionate women who are committed and determined to help free women and children from oppression and slavery. Join with local women to be a voice for the voiceless and raise funds all year long! By making a gift of $150, you can help set a woman on the pathway to freedom and become a freedom circle member!
