2 Behaviors and habits that help determine a person’s level of health and wellness.

3 Identify three examples of positive lifestyle factors.

4 Eating well-balanced meals, starting with breakfast. Getting at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily Sleeping at least eight hours every night Doing your best in school and other activities. Avoiding tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs. Following safety rules and wearing protective gear. Relating well to family, friends, and classmates.

5 Explain why a sedentary lifestyle is a risk behavior.

6 Because it’s a way of life that includes little physical activity. If you sit in front of the computer or TV continually, it becomes a risk because it replaces sports or physical activity.

7 Explain why abstinence from risk behaviors is a wise choice for teens.

8 Because it shows you are responsible and that you respect yourself. It also benefits all three sides of your health triangle.
