I. What is puberty? The time meaning the end of childhood in which the body becomes physically able to reproduce. However, at puberty, children are not emotionally or socially ready for reproduction.

A.These changes result from male and female hormones produced by endocrine system. 1.Estrogen – hormone that affects female sexual development and menstrual cycle. 2.Testosterone – hormone that affects male sexual development.

VI. Hormones Cause Emotional Changes A.Mood swing – sudden increase of feeling caused by shifting hormone levels. B.A mood swing might cause you to feel like laughing or crying for no apparent reason. C.You cannot control hormones. D.However, you can cope with mood swings by recognizing your emotions and finding healthful ways to express and cope with them.
