2. Time Zone  Both Koreas have the same time zone. KST (Korean Standard Time[+14 hours]).  So when its 12:00pm in NC, in the Koreas it is 2:00am.  You cant fly into North Korea.(No outside Travel)  From RDU to Seoul, South Korea it would take 14 hours and 45 minutes

3. Climate in the Koreas  North  The winters are bitterly cold and the summers are short, hot, and humid.  South  Climate can seem similar to New York. Since the winter and summer can see extreme differences in temperature which is similar to New York, geographically.

4. Temperature  North  Summer: High is 84 degrees, Low is 68 degrees  Winter: High is 26 degrees, Low is 8 degrees.  South  Average temperature near Seoul is 14 degrees Celsius.

5. Rainfall  North  North Korea has 38 inches of rainfall yearly.  South  Annual rainfall is from 25mm to 370mm each year.
