Time Zone Both Koreas have the same time zone. KST (Korean Standard Time[+14 hours]). So when its 12:00pm in NC, in the Koreas it is 2:00am. You cant fly into North Korea.(No outside Travel) From RDU to Seoul, South Korea it would take 14 hours and 45 minutes

Climate in the Koreas North The winters are bitterly cold and the summers are short, hot, and humid. South Climate can seem similar to New York. Since the winter and summer can see extreme differences in temperature which is similar to New York, geographically.

Temperature North Summer: High is 84 degrees, Low is 68 degrees Winter: High is 26 degrees, Low is 8 degrees. South Average temperature near Seoul is 14 degrees Celsius.

Rainfall North North Korea has 38 inches of rainfall yearly. South Annual rainfall is from 25mm to 370mm each year.
