Differentiated Technical Assistance: K-12 Schools Based on most recent Ohio accountability measures Tier 1 – Continuous improvement needs – PI 86 or above Tier 2 – Moderate school improvement needs – PI of 72 to 85 Tier 3 – Intensive school improvement needs – PI below 72 – – Diagnostic Review and Corrective Action Plan Tier 4 – Start Up or Incubator Schools <2 yrs. “F” in Value Added demotes school to a lower tier. Complaints, lack of compliance, or other findings may also change a tier designation.

Technical Assistance with Professional Development Our approach – based on research on high quality PD Request must be tied to the school’s SI Profile (SI Priorities) Use PD Request form – send to your Lead SI Representative Include a plan for follow-up (development over time) and teacher/staff engagement Leadership participation required

Pupil Achievement Data Longitudinal data dashboard on Ohio Accountability measures Comparisons with challenged districts Quarterly monitoring of pupil progress data using school’s assessment platform – due October 30 and February 28 Tracking of projected value added and passing rates Assistance with analysis
