1 Bell Ringer, 9/3 After researching and presenting on a variety of colonial regions, decide which one region (northern, middle, or southern) you would live in, but you are English person under these circumstances:  You’re a devoted member of the Church of England, but are open to changes within the church.  You have had previous jobs in trading silks, but are from rural area in England.  You are open to community-led governments, ex: town halls After making your decision, explain why you made that choice.

15 Commonality Between Regions 1. All were eventually successful and profitable 2. All were based on the 3 original purposes of exploration 3. All fell under the rule of Great Britain, eventually!

16 Study Habits Most people suffer on exams, not because of lack of effort, but the inability to study correctly But like ice cream flavors, everyone has their preference on how to study. Suggestions:  Index Cards (colonial regions, people, cause/effects, etc.)  Timeline (Pre-Columbian America to 1754)  Annotate Notes & Handouts (I know, FUN!)  Consolidate Information & Notes via Organizer (venn diagram, t-chart, matrix, etc.)  Study Groups
