3 Lesson Objectives To be able to identify a range of places where an entrepreneur could get help To be able to advise Deb on the support currently available to entrepreneurs wanting to start a business.

4 Starter Stand up if you think Deb can get a loan from the Government to start her business. Stay seated if you think she can’t.

5 Where should Deb look for support for her business idea? 1.Government 2.Charities 3.Private firms on the Internet Your secondary research should focus on these three areas. Your investigation 3 report will need to discuss you “knowledge and understanding of the help available to entrepreneurs”. As there are billions of websites the next few PPT slides and accompanying website will narrow down your search so you make the most of your research time.
