3. 2. Look for horses, not zebras Weeds and common plants have most of the items found on the checklist.

4. 3. You may take up to 3 pictures  You may buy fruit, but its wiser to just take a picture.  You must appear in the picture.  No pics taken from the internet

5. 4. Respect the law Do not collect plants that are:  On private property  In state or national parks  On state or interstate highways ** It is NOT illegal to pick bluebonnets

6. 5. Don’t Procrastinate This assignment cannot be done in one day.  Commit at least 2 days per week to collect and identify plants  Bring your plants AND your checklist in throughout the time period  Pick a partner who will work  Carry a ziplock bag with you at all times
