1. Learning goal: Students will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of how to use a computer.

2.  WATCH VIDEO INTRODUCTION TO SCAVENGER HUNT!  Today you will explore your school computer and its programs.  Record the answers to the questions in the PowerPoint files.  At the end of each exercise, save your PowerPoint in My Documents.

3.  ALL THE DIRECTIONS are in the videos and the PowerPoints. Listen and read carefully.  You may help each other as long as you keep the voice level to 1! If it gets too loud, then the voice level will be 0 (you will work alone!)

4.  In PowerPoint, click on the orange File button.  Click the Save As option.  A box will pop up.  Scroll down until you find Computer on the left side of the box.  In the middle of the box, double click on your user name.  In the file name box, type in the file name specified in the directions. For this file, name it: savingfiles  Click okay.  NOW – Go to the video instructions for Part 1.
