2 Rome, November 28 th, 2003 Consip Task and structure Consip is a joint-stock company totally and directly owned by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), and it operates exclusively to serve Public Administrations Consip’s operations are carried out through two divisions: the DSIT (Treasury Information System Division), with about 300 employees, is in charge of managing the Information System of the Ministry of Economy and Finance the DARPA (PA On-line Procurement Division), with about 180 employees, is in charge of implementing the Rationalization Program on Public Spending for goods and services 1.Consip 2.DARPA 3.Key indicators 4.International cooperation

5 Rome, November 28 th, 2003 Consip International cooperation Contacts have been established with similar entities in Austria, Denmark, France, Holland, Finland, and United Kingdom, in order to share know-how and benchmarks, although continuity and framework have not been standardized yet Consip representatives participate in EU and International Committees in charge of defining guidelines on topics related to Public Procurement International cooperation plans have already started with other countries willing to share and benchmark e-procurement state of the art/best practices Here we have, today, a key opportunity to evaluate and propose an organized framework of cooperation for the benefit of all interested partcipants 1.Consip 2.DARPA 3.Key indicators 4.International cooperation
