Announcements and News SIG Leadership Announcements – Programs Chair: Cheryl Soderstrom, HP Enterprise Services – Cloud Computing Cross SIG Representation: OPEN SIG News – Change SIG monthly meetings to 1 st Wed of each month, 1-3pm, starting Feb 2 nd – SIG GAP meeting scheduled for end of January to brief on focus areas and solicit ideas/needs ACT-IAC Membership meeting 1/19 – Featuring Jeff Greene, Counsel, Majority Staff, Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee – Cyber-security legislation on the hill 3ACT-IAC Cybersecurity SIG Monthly Meeting

Old Business: SIG Operations Approach SIG will identify a series topic areas on which to focus energy / programs / content in 2011 Identify a lead or committee for each area Lead/Committee responsibilities: – Shape the focus and resulting product/event – Define and produce the event, product or other form of collaboration, information sharing – Coordinate with Program Chair and obtain support from the Chair/Vice Chair as needed for ACT-IAC Focus area/committee leads get invites to meetings with Government Advisory Panel (GAP) 4ACT-IAC Cybersecurity SIG Monthly Meeting

New Business: Cybersecurity Awards Concept – Form a 3-5 person committee to drive the event – SIG members nominate organizations/projects Recognize emerging best practices, overcoming obstacles, mission support / agility, reduced cost, innovation, etc – Committee selects finalists in each focus area – Open and conduct voting ACT-IAC wide – Coordinate with ACT-IAC Program Committee to host event to announce winners Next Steps – Identify interested committee members – Begin planning 6ACT-IAC Cybersecurity SIG Monthly Meeting
