Johann Gutenberg took a wine press & transformed it for printing. BOOKS WERE WRITTEN BY HAND BEFORE PRESS… In 1456, he made 180 copies of the first printed book: a Bible.

Only 49 copies of these Bibles survive today. The last time a Gutenberg Bible sold, it went for $2.4 million.

Henry wanted t divorce because his first wife didn’t bear a male heir to his throne AND was old Church didn’t grant him a divorce but he was able to manipulate the situation to get one and broke away from the Catholic Church to start his own so he could do what he wanted. 1 st wife-divorced, 2 nd wife-(originally a mistress) has a girl (Elizabeth) frames her for cheating and kills her. 3 rd wife has son but dies in childbirth, 4 th wife short marriage & divorce, 5 th wife was 19 and flirty so he killed her, 6 th & final wife outlived him but he almost killed her as well!

(1 page) B- Vernacular- speaking in ones native tongue had both advantages and disadvantages. Create a pros and cons diagram(VENN) that lists the reasons. After the list summarize your choices in a response using the diagram components. (Diagram & 1/2 page response) C- Create a Blog about Henry VIII- (copy paper) It could be PRO or CON. Come up with name, web address, and different users, that are making comments about way he formed the church of England and handled his wives! (full use of copy sheet)
