Charles Dickens One of the greatest writers of Victorian era. He mixed poetry with comedy. His most important novels: Oliver Twist, David Copperfield, The christmas books….

Lewis Carroll Author, matematician, logician, photographer He got the degree at Oxford. Alice’s Adventure in Worderland.

Arthur Conan Doyle He created Sherlock Holmes. His wife died of tuberculosis. His most important novels are by Sherlock Holmes.

Bram Stoker He graduated in maths and science. Gothic genre. His most important novel: Dracula.

Robert Louis Stevenson He was a travel writer. He was of Tory political party. Novels: Treasure Island, Kidnapped, The Wrecker.

His life He went to the Trinity and Maddalen College. He had two sons He is remembered for his epigrams. He died very early.
