9. + The Grand Staff and Ledger Lines When both Treble and Bass Staves are connected by a brace and a line they form the GRAND STAFF

10. + Ledger Lines Ledger Lines are used to indicate notes when we run out of room on the staff. These can be used when a note is either too high or too low to be written on the staff.
