7.  CLMS Junior Beta Club Requirements  Beta Club is a national honor organization that recognizes outstanding academic achievement, promotes strong moral character, and social responsibility, encourages service to others, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for you to develop strong interpersonal skills.  Each Beta Club member is expected to memorize the Beta Club Pledge, the 8 principles, and the vision and mission statements.  Each Beta Club member is expected to earn 50 Beta Points by the end of the school year.  Each Beta Club member is to maintain all A’s and B’s during the school year, exemplify strong character, and maintain model behavior. ISS and OSS may result in suspension or dismissal from Beta Club.  New Beta Club members are to be inducted into the club by paying $15.00 National dues and participating in the ceremony.  Returning members are to pay $5.00 local club dues and to participate in the renewal portion of the Induction Ceremony.
