I vs. me I= Subject of a sentence or phrase. The subject is the 'giver' of the action. Me = Object of a sentence or phrase. The object is the 'receiver' of the action. A good guide in cases like these is to see whether the sentence sounds right with only the pronoun (I or me). If 'Me had a dog' is wrong, then so is 'Annie and me had a dog'; if you wouldn't say 'Watch I do it first', you shouldn't say 'Watch Helen and I do it first'. Sharon and _____ will go to the store.
